The first hotel would be closest to the conference venue, whereas the other two hotels are located in Berlin city centre with easy access to local transport (H+ with direct connection to Oranienburg, H2 you would have to change once). How to get to the conference:
Oranienburg is the last stop of commuter train (Sbahn) S1. It takes 40-50 minutes from Berlin city centre to Oranienburg.
Stadthotel in Oranienburg is close to the conference location (Brandenburg State Police University), i.e. about 15 minutes by foot. Hence we recommend staying at the Stadthotel in Oranienburg.
The H+ Hotel is in the centre of Berlin. From there it is a 5 minute walk to get to the train station Nordbahnhof. The commuter train (Sbahn) S1 at Nordbahnhof takes you directly to Oranienburg (last stop).
If you choose H2 Hotel, you'll find that it is conveniently located next to one of Berlins main sights, the Alexanderplatz. However, you will have to take the Metro U8 (direction Wittenau) and change to the regional train RE5 which leaves once every hour at 7:55, 8:55, 9:55, 10:55, 11:55, 13:55. The journey takes 20 min. The commuter train (Sbahn) S1 at Gesundbrunnen station offers three options per hour, however the train ride takes 36 minutes.
Buses from Oranienburg station run almost every hour at 04 and 23 minutes past the full hour: 7:04, 7:23, 8:04, 8:23, 9:04, 9:23, 10:04, 10:23, 11:04, 11:23, 12:04, 12:23, 12:04, 13:23. The bus ride takes only 6 minutes and you have to get off at “Hochschule der Polizei”.
For how to get to Oranienburg see the timetable of the Berlin transport authority (in English): https://www.vbb.de/en
